Hi There,

instead of cooking and cooling and cutting and filling Ebleskivers..you my find it easier to do it the traditional way. Since this was a new pan (you wanna give it up :-)???) You are supposed to fill part way with pancake batter, then add puree (or the goodies you used) then add the rest of the pancake batter to the top. Then flip over! Voila Danish Pancakes!

Wish I could find the blogger who claims that this device promoted during the 70’s as a device to make round rather than flat pancakes as one of the 10 worst inventions of all time.

This was not a gimmick (to reinvent pancakes, but rather a traditional danish dish!

Your picks look lovely! I would imagine that would take the edge off my celiac itch for jelly donuts! Yummy!

Thanks, Joan. I look at them and think of how I managed to eat that plate in one sitting...

The saving grace is that it's an 8" plate, not a dinner plate.
